Chai earned both his BBA and JD degrees from the University of Kentucky. As an undergrad, he majored in marketing and minored in Spanish. He grew up in Lexington and is proud to still live there, serving the greater Lexington community with outstanding legal support.

Shelley’s legal focus is in estate planning, Medicaid eligibility, asset preservation, trust administration, and probate. She is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Matthew is a member of NAELA, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Special Needs Alliance (SNA). Matthew is one of only two Special Needs Alliance-certified attorneys listed across Kentucky.

Mark has been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association since 1981, the Elder Law Section of the Kentucky Bar Association, and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Mark lives in Lexington, KY, and enjoys travel, chess, and history.

Derek has practiced law for more than twenty years and has almost exclusively represented individuals and small businesses. He helps clients at our practice with estate planning, business planning, and litigation.
